Jules Hudson is taking a break from Escape to the Country to enjoy a family holiday in Dorset. The BBC star shared a video from his coastal walk on Sunday, revealing he had headed to one of his favourite parts of the English coastline.
Family time in Charmouth
In the video, Jules panned the camera onto the nearby village of Charmouth and Lyme Bay. Given that he is on a family holiday, he is likely travelling with his wife, Tania Fitzgerald, and their 11-year-old son, Jack. The family resides in a historic 16th-century farmhouse in The Golden Valley, Herefordshire, just a few hours' drive from Dorset.
Recent filming and postponed appearance
Jules has been busy filming new episodes of Escape to the Country in recent months. His latest episode took him to Northern Ireland for a house hunt, and before that, he was in Kent for another instalment.
The holiday comes less than two months after Jules had to cancel a scheduled appearance at the Blake Theatre in Monmouth due to a sudden and serious family illness. In June, he addressed fans on Instagram, explaining that he had to postpone the event, which has been rescheduled for Saturday 12th September.
