Jenny Powell, 58, showcased her bikini body during a trip to Ibiza, where she was seen falling asleep by the pool and enjoying yoga sessions. The former Wheel of Fortune co-presenter shared the moments with her followers on Instagram while spending time on the Mediterranean island with her daughter, Connie.
Bikini moments and a poolside nap
In a video shared on Instagram, Powell wore blue and brown bikinis, showing off her toned abs and curves. Another clip on her story showed her snoozing on a sunlounger with the caption: "Shh... Mum's asleep. Nothing to do with the margaritas by the way!"
The mum-of-two, who began presenting in the late 1980s and is best known for replacing Carol Smillie on ITV's Wheel of Fortune, keeps in shape by practicing yoga, which she continued during her time away.
Reflection on rest and relaxation
Sharing a video of herself taking a dip in the pool, Powell said of her break: "A few days of yoga, sunshine, good food, proper rest, lovely people and a little less noise. No big transformation. No pressure to be doing anything. Just time to move, breathe, sleep, laugh and come back to myself a little. Turns out doing less can sometimes give you so much more. When did you last give yourself permission to do absolutely nothing… without feeling guilty?"
She also posted yoga snaps, adding: "One of my favourite things about being away is having the time and space to just move… no rush, no agenda, just seeing where my body wants to go. A little strength, a little stretch, a little wobble and a lot of breathing."
Trip setbacks turned to memories
Powell revealed the trip with Connie did not start well, with her daughter forgetting her passport, followed by a four-hour flight delay and an aborted landing. "But somehow it all came together… and turned into the BEST mother and daughter night," she said, sharing a video of them dancing in a nightclub.
She added: "Our first time properly clubbing together in Ibiza - and what a way to do it! Ushuaïa, David Guetta, dancing, laughing and one of those nights I’ll never forget. Turns out the journey there was just part of the story! Mother and daughter Ibiza memories… priceless."
