Former Strictly Come Dancing professionals James and Ola Jordan have announced their separation after nearly 23 years of marriage. Their manager confirmed the news, stating: "It is with great sadness that I can confirm that James and Ola began a trial separation some time ago."
Co-parenting priority
Their manager added: "Their shared priority remains co-parenting their daughter, Ella, and they are committed to putting her wellbeing first. They would greatly appreciate your understanding as they navigate this difficult time."
The couple, who began their relationship in 1999 and married in 2003, welcomed their daughter Ella in 2020. In a 2022 interview with Hello! Magazine, they discussed their IVF journey and hopes for another child.
Vanessa Feltz's confession
Last year, Vanessa Feltz revealed on her Channel 5 programme that she had briefly fallen for James. She said: "For an insane 24 to 48 hours I fell passionately in love with him." She added that meeting Ola made her realize her feelings were "ridiculous but there is something intoxicating."
James and Ola appeared on Strictly together in 2013, but Vanessa was eliminated in the second week. Despite the show's so-called 'Strictly curse', the couple had previously avoided any such drama.
