Eva Garcia, the ex-girlfriend of Alejandro Garnacho, has confirmed she is leaving her home in England with a broken heart, attributing the move to decisions made by other people. She will relocate alongside her son Enzo, following the couple's breakup in 2025 after a four-year relationship.
Emotional farewell on social media
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Garcia shared black-and-white images of the house she and Garnacho once shared, along with photos of their son. She wrote: "I never imagined that one day I would have to say goodbye to the house where my son and I have rebuilt our lives since everything changed. It was here that we took our first steps as a family of two."
She added: "It was here that I learnt to be strong when I had no other choice, and it is here that my son has grown up surrounded by memories that I will always carry with me."
Reasons for departure
Garcia explained that the departure was not a choice but a consequence of circumstances beyond her control. "Today we have to pack our bags and leave," she said. "Not because we want to, nor because we’ve chosen to do so, but because there are circumstances and decisions made by other people and which have ultimately made it impossible for us to stay here."
She continued: "And perhaps that’s what hurts the most: knowing that you did everything in your power to avoid a farewell you never wanted. That you tried to keep a home together whilst the decisions of others ended up setting a date for your departure."
Relationship background
Garnacho and Garcia began dating in August 2020, having met as teenagers while Garnacho was at Atletico Madrid. Their son Enzo was born three years later. The couple had separated previously before their final breakup in 2025, during which time Garnacho was seen with Spanish influencers Ona Gonfaus and Lauri.
Concluding her post, Garcia wrote: "Today we’ve lost a house, but we haven’t lost our home. Because as long as I can give him love, security and a place where he feels loved, I’ll keep building it again and again. I’m leaving with a broken heart, yes, but also with the peace of mind that comes from knowing I did everything in my power for us. The rest was no longer in our hands. And even though we have to start afresh today, I know that as long as we have each other, we’ll always have a home."
