Sharon Osbourne reveals Ozzy's final words and daily grave visits

Sharon Osbourne has opened up about the final hours she spent with her husband Ozzy before his death last year, revealing that she visits his grave every day and will "never get over" losing him.

The Black Sabbath rocker, 76, died of a heart attack and had asked his wife to "hold me tight" in bed hours before his death. Sharon, 74, said: "We'd spoken in the night. Ozzy had woken in the night and he asked me to kiss him twice, and I did. And then he said, 'Hold me, hold me tight,' and I did."

Grief after 50 years together

The singer died weeks after his farewell concert in his hometown of Birmingham. Sharon has spoken about the grief she has experienced since losing him after more than 50 years together.

She said: "You've lost the love of your life, so you don't just wake up and go, 'I'm fine now. I'm cured'. You never get over it. But you learn to live with it, and that's what I'm trying to do. So you either sit in a room and don't come out, or you accept it, befriend it, and that's it."

Burial in the family garden

Ozzy was laid to rest in the family garden in Beaconsfield, Bucks. Sharon said there was "no way" she was going to put him in a public graveyard as there would be "no peace" due to the number of fans wanting to visit.

She also said she feels Ozzy would have been confused by the crowds that flocked to his funeral. Sharon felt he would have asked "what's the matter?" with those who went to Birmingham to pay their respects and that he would have told them to "go home".
