Emma Willis has shared the secret to her marriage with husband Matt as she returns to screens before her new Strictly Come Dancing hosting role begins.
The presenter, announced as the new host of the BBC One dance contest, and her Busted star husband have been married since 2008 and share three children – Isabelle, Ace and Trixie. The couple are now returning as co-stars for a third series of Love Is Blind UK on Netflix.
Working Together Works for the Couple
While some might find working with their partner challenging, Emma says it works for them. "You’d think if you lived and worked together, you’d be like, 'Christ, I need a break!' But we don’t," Emma, 50, said via Closer. "We just absolutely love being with each other all the time."
Matt, 43, added: "Of all the things I do, Love Is Blind is my favourite and it’s mainly because I’m working with Emma. We get to do this really cool job together, we get flown around the world with this amazing show which is all about love, and I’m with my best mate every day."
New Strictly Hosting Role
Emma will soon front Strictly with two new co-hosts. She will take the helm alongside comedian Josh Widdicombe and professional dancer Johannes Radebe, following the exit of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman at the end of the 2025 series.
Emma previously spoke about taking on the Strictly hosting role in a statement shared alongside the announcement. She said: "It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Strictly – I’ve cheered and danced along from my sofa for years – so to be stepping into the Strictly ballroom is something I can’t quite comprehend.
"It’s impossible to fill the shoes that Tess and Claudia have left behind – two wonderful, iconic women who have been the beating heart of Strictly for so long. I can only hope that we are able to help to steer the ship as beautifully as they have, into this new chapter."
She added: "I can’t wait to spend my weekends with Josh and Jojo, the incredible dancers and the judges. Fingers crossed for a 10 from them."
