The Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor, and his wife Olivia welcomed their daughter Cosima on July 27. The birth has delighted family and friends, including Princes William and Harry, both close friends of Hugh. However, a dilemma has emerged over who will be Cosima's godfather.
According to The Times, Hugh and Olivia face a 'minefield' over whether to ask Prince Harry. Prince William is reportedly set to be a godfather, as he remains close to Hugh—having served as an usher at Hugh's wedding last year. William is also godfather to Hugh's eldest son, Prince George.
Complicating matters, Hugh is godfather to Harry's son, Prince Archie, which may pressure him to offer Harry the same honour for Cosima. No official announcement has been made regarding godparents or a christening date, as the family enjoys private time together.
