A new YouGov poll has placed Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie below Prince Harry on the popularity scale, despite their controversial cousin receiving a higher percentage of negative views.
The survey, conducted between July 21 and July 22 among 2,063 adults, found that 33% of respondents had a positive view of Prince Harry. In contrast, only 30% viewed Princess Beatrice positively and just 29% felt the same about Princess Eugenie.
Negative views and undecided respondents
While 58% of those polled held a negative view of Harry, the sisters fared slightly better in this regard: 34% had a negative opinion of Beatrice and the same percentage for Eugenie. A large portion of respondents remained undecided, with 36% saying they did not know how they felt about Beatrice and 37% for Eugenie. Only 9% were unsure about Harry.
Shifts from previous polls
Earlier polls had shown Beatrice and Eugenie ranking higher than Harry. The latest results suggest that either Harry's recent UK trip boosted his popularity or the sisters' standing has declined due to scandals involving their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
The sisters remain more popular than Meghan Markle, who received a 22% positive rating. The lowest-ranked royal was Prince Andrew, with just 2% positive and 92% negative views.
