The Traitors season four is back, and fans are convinced a production blunder has revealed the identity of the show's secret fourth Traitor. The BBC reality series, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, introduced a new twist this year: a 'Secret Traitor' whose identity is hidden from both contestants and viewers.
Three Traitors—Hugo, 51, Rachel, 42, and Stephen, 32—were revealed at the start of the season. But a fourth, known only as the Secret Traitor, can shortlist players for murder each night and knows who the other Traitors are. With 13 contestants still in the game, speculation has been rife.
During a recent episode of the spin-off show The Traitors: Uncloaked, viewers spotted four framed photographs on the set wall. Three were of the known Traitors, but the fourth was of contestant Harriet, a 52-year-old crime writer and former barrister. Fans quickly took to social media to point out the apparent clue.
One viewer wrote on X: 'Look at the back wall. The only portraits they've got up are the three traitors PLUS Harriet, that secret barrister.' Another added: 'Why are the 3 traitors pictured on the wall… with Harriet.' A third said: 'Spoiler: The portraits of the traitors are in the background of #traitorsuncloaked.... Plus an additional one. Harriet the secret traitor!'
The Secret Traitor's identity is expected to be revealed on Thursday. New episodes of The Traitors air weekly on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays on BBC.
