Three Celebrities Emerge Victorious from Celebrity SAS Ordeal
In a dramatic conclusion to the latest series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, just three contestants out of an initial fourteen have successfully completed the brutal Special Forces selection course. The triumphant trio – former Love Island stars Dani Dyer-Bowen and Gabby Allen, alongside retired Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm – shared an emotional embrace after being told they had passed the gruelling process.
A Harrowing Final Challenge Tests Limits
The series finale on Channel 4 featured an exceptionally demanding final challenge that pushed the remaining celebrities to their absolute limits. Over twelve intense hours, the contestants faced a simulated hostage situation designed to test their emotional resilience under extreme pressure.
This punishing task proved too much for two notable participants, leading to their withdrawal from the course. Australian former Olympic swimmer Mack Horton and World Cup-winning former rugby player Ben Cohen were unable to continue, leaving only Dyer-Bowen, Allen and Seebohm to face the final evaluation.
Interrogation and Psychological Warfare
Throughout the eight-day selection process, the celebrity recruits were subjected to numerous challenging scenarios including:
- Intense interrogation sessions designed to break their resolve
- Detention periods while blindfolded to disorient and unsettle
- Exposure to disturbing sounds including a baby crying to test emotional control
Dyer-Bowen, 29, was among those who broke down in tears during the final stages, describing the experience as "so horrible" while reflecting on the psychological toll of the process.
The Moment of Truth and Celebration
Following the completion of all challenges, chief instructor Billy Billingham delivered the verdict to the three remaining candidates. In a rare moment for the demanding course, he announced: "It's a rare moment to say congratulations to all three of you, you've passed this course."
The emotional reunion saw Dyer-Bowen telling her fellow recruits "We did it girls" before reflecting that "Every single moment was horrendous" – a testament to the extreme nature of the challenges they had overcome.
Contestant Determination and Diverse Line-up
Pre-programme confessionals revealed the mindset that carried the winners through their ordeal. Dyer-Bowen had declared "If I pass this, I can do anything" while Allen, 33, stated her intention to "make myself proud" by giving her absolute maximum effort throughout the course.
The series featured a diverse range of celebrity participants including:
- TV personality Jessika Power
- Social media stars Jack Joseph and Cole Anderson-James
- Olympian Toby Olubi
- Neighbours actors Ryan Moloney and Natalie Bassingthwaighte
- International cricketers Graeme Swann and Brad Hodge
