The psychological thriller stars Robson Green as serial killer Patrick Harbottle and Jason Watkins as former detective Huw Miller. The second series, which launched on September 1, follows Huw as he withdraws to an isolated coastal property with his wife, Alice (Sunetra Sarker), hoping to put his troubled past to rest.
Patrick's new game
Taking place one year after Patrick's stabbing of Huw, the ex-policeman's tranquil existence is shattered when correspondence starts arriving from the incarcerated serial killer. From his prison cell, Patrick initiates a fresh game that penetrates deep into Huw's family life, eroding the former detective's ethical boundaries and pushing him towards an impossible decision: eliminating Patrick permanently may require an unbearable personal sacrifice.
While prison officer Jackie (Tanya Franks) had been involved in certain aspects of Patrick's sinister plans, Huw's daughter Margot (Indy Lewis) also found herself in serious peril at the hands of Patrick's associate Sam (Sonny Ashbourne Serkis). Alice's fatal hit-and-run truly propelled Huw into a destructive tailspin, drawing him back into Patrick's chilling psychological warfare.
