Strictly Come Dancing legend Vincent Simone has admitted he was initially doubtful about the show's new three-presenter format, but now says he loves every single one of the hosts.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the professional dancer shared his thoughts on Josh Widdicombe, Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe, who have taken over from Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
Initial doubts over the shake-up
Vincent confessed that he was "a bit dubious at the beginning" because everything had changed so quickly. "At first, some people can't really accept changes straight away, and I was a bit dubious at the beginning myself because everything has changed so quickly," he said.
However, he added: "But I have to be honest, this comes from the heart: everybody is so good in their own way, and I love every single one of them, every single presenter."
A suggestion for Emma Willis
The Strictly hunk had one "little suggestion" for the show, suggesting that Emma Willis should take more of a lead role. "Emma is probably the most loved when it comes to presenting because she's done massive shows, like Big Brother, and she's so beautiful," he said.
"She looks so good at what she does. So maybe have a bit more of her and then get the other two supporting her. I feel like Josh and Emma together, it's more Josh taking control of the situation, whereas I think Emma should be more the lead."
Praise for the new hosts
Despite his suggestion, Vincent was full of praise for the trio. "But apart from that, they're all really good. Josh makes me laugh. He makes me giggle sometimes. They are doing really well," he said.
He also had kind words for Johannes Radebe, saying: "Johannes, I like the fact that he's up there with the couples, and every now and then, I love when he does something because he's an amazing dancer. I love when he does a dance move with one of the professionals, or he shows something, because I'm sure most of the people miss watching him dancing. For him to do more of that, I think is brilliant."
Vincent spoke to Daily Star on behalf of Paddy Power Games.
