Strictly Come Dancing fans found themselves divided on opinion just minutes into the latest episode. The hit Saturday night show returned to the BBC for another night of glitz and glamour in the ballroom. But viewers had a lot to say when the three hosts made their entrance.
When it comes to Strictly, fans often take on the judging role from the comfort of their own homes. Whether it be criticising a celebrity's hip rotation or questioning the speed of a couple's quickstep, Strictly viewers have come accustomed to voicing their opinions when it comes to the BBC show.
Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdecombe have taken over as hosts after Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman departed their roles last year.
Fans divided over Emma's entrance
During the latest episode, fans were divided when Emma Willis made her entrance. The TV presenter looked stunning as she stepped out in an elegant grey two-piece suit paired with a light pink corset style top.
While some viewers liked Emma's professional look, others thought her outfit wasn't "Strictly" enough.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, just minutes into the broadcast, one said: "Emma looks amazing tonight" while another added: "Emma looks amazing, so do JoJo and Josh."
A third said: "Emma looks gorg." A fourth said: "Emma Willis looking great tonight."
But other viewers had a completely different opinion, one wrote on X: "I think Emma is naturally stunning but why have they dressed her like this? Strictly is literally all about the glitz and glam!"
Another said: "Emma Willis dressed like she’s going for after work drinks", while a third added to the conversation: "Well Josh you look great for a Saturday night entertainment show, oh Emma noooo."
Co-stars' outfits and new hosts settling in
Emma matched her co-star Josh Widdecombe, who stood to her left in a dark navy blue suit. Johannes added a different style, dressed in a deep orange silk top and dark pink trousers.
One viewer wrote on X: "Johannes looks gorgeous! Love the outfit, wonderful autumnal shades." Another said: "I like those colours on Johannes."
It seems the three new presenters are slotting into life in the ballroom after an unsettled start to the series. Fans agreed Emma is "so natural with the contestants" while Johannes is the perfect fit for greeting the couples upstairs after their routines.
