Strictly fans in tears as Will Best reveals baby news

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were moved to tears as Will Best closed the Saturday live show with a Jive alongside his professional partner, Dianne Buswell. Just moments before taking to the stage, the BBC contest aired his emotional VT, in which the Big Brother presenter told the pro that he and his fiancée, Tobi Rose, had welcomed their first child, a son, Sonny Best.

Emotional exchange on the bench

As Dianne, who also became a mum in March, jumped with glee, the pair then shared a tender heart-to-heart on a bench. The Strictly partners were both in tears at the news as the Australian dancer told Will: "You will feel tired, but it's like a magical tired. You're tired from the exhaustion of loving them so much."

Will then tugged at heartstrings as he admitted: "I'm going to get emotional," he went on to praise Dianne, adding: "You're inspirational. You are doing all of this, and you've got a baby and clearly the most amazing mum, so I want to try and learn from you."

Viewers in tears too

As she wiped away tears, the 37-year-old responded: "Well, you're going to be the most amazing dad and all I can say is we can do it together."

Viewers revealed that the emotional scene also left them in tears, as one penned: "Will and Dianne crying, wait, now I’m crying too, whole house in waterworks."
