Celebrity Traitors: Romesh Ranganathan favourite to be next victim
Romesh Ranganathan favourite to be next Celebrity Traitors victim

Romesh Ranganathan is the favourite to be the next contestant murdered on Celebrity Traitors, according to the latest odds from Action Network. The comedian stands at 4/7 to be selected for elimination, with fellow comic Rob Beckett trailing at 7/3.

The BBC reality series returns with a new episode tonight, following a cliffhanger ending in which the remaining Traitors - Love Island host Maya Jama, comedian James Acaster and mathematician Professor Hannah Fry - invited celebrities to play a lethal game of hide and seek in the woods. Presenter Claudia Winkleman told the contestants they had to select four potential victims, who would hide while the Traitors attempted to find and eliminate one face to face.

Four Faithfuls chosen for deadly game

The Traitors chose four Faithfuls rather than one of their own: Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock and actor Ross Kemp. Unbeknownst to the Traitors, the selected group were given one key to secure a hiding spot, which was handed to Little Mix star Leigh-Anne.

Action Network's spokesperson said: "Romesh Ranganathan is the favourite to become the next victim of the Traitors at odds of 4/7, with the traitors perceiving him as one of the leading faithful voices around the round table, making him a smart one to remove."

Hannah Fry favourite for banishment

Hannah Fry emerges as the "overwhelming favourite" to face banishment at the upcoming Round Table, sitting at 3/7 to attract the most votes. James Blunt trails at 3/1, ahead of Jerry Hall at 17/3.

The spokesperson added: "Rob Beckett follows at odds of 7/3 to get murdered, seen as a random choice that could send the faithful spiralling. Ross Kemp is considered less likely to get murdered, with the Traitors counting on the suspicion already following him to keep building. Leigh-Anne Pinnock, whose late-night make-up touch-up may still be fresh in people's minds, is the least likely to get murdered - though if the traitors do choose her, there will be no murder, as she was handed the key and is therefore protected during the hide and seek."

Michael Sheen's odds improve

Welsh actor Michael Sheen has seen his odds improve to become the ultimate champion, though with three Traitors remaining, James Acaster and Maya Jama also feature among the top three contenders for victory.

The Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
