Oasis fans have been sent into a frenzy after it was announced the exclusive codes needed to buy tickets were being released today. The Britpop band are set to complete a world tour next year with thousands of fans desperate for a ticket.
To be in with a shot, fans had to sign up to a ballot system via Oasis' website. Successful candidates will be sent a unique Ticketmaster code which will give them access to a sale. Without this code, it will be impossible to snag a ticket.
Fans ask the same question
Today (September 24) was the first day the codes were being sent out – but many fans have been left confused and asking one question.
One X user wrote: "Has anyone got an Oasis code recently? Wondering if all today’s codes have been sent and if I should give up refreshing for today and go back at it in the morning".
Another equally confused fan posted: "Has anyone got a code for ANY United Kingdom/Ireland shows????"
Feeling hopeless, a third noted: "When do I need to accept I’m not getting an Oasis code then?"
Sale windows and tour dates
Several fans were left confused about the process of getting tickets, with others questioning whether they'd get them at all. The first three sale windows are set to open on Friday (September 25) with a further three on Saturday (September 26) and Sunday (September 27).
The Britpop icons announced a huge tour is set to take place next summer starting with five nights in Glasgow in May 2027. The band will then head to their home city of Manchester for an 11-night residency at the Etihad Stadium before travelling over to Europe for shows in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome before going to the US for gigs in Boston and Las Vegas.
Then, the Gallagher brothers will head to Ireland's Slane Castle for two nights before making an epic and long-awaited return to Knebworth for six nights to conclude the tour.
What happens next
Those who registered are not guaranteed tickets or even access to the sale. Fans who are successful will be sent a unique, non-transferable code to access one of the nine onsale windows.
If fans still haven't received an access code by the end of the day on Sunday, then they may have sadly missed out on getting tickets this time round. But it is likely that there will be tickets available via Ticketmaster resale. Fans who miss out on tickets in this week's sale can keep an eye out for resale tickets from next week onwards.
