Celebrity Traitors: Michael Sheen names Maya Jama and Kenny as Traitors
Michael Sheen names Maya Jama and King Kenny as Traitors

Michael Sheen exposed Maya Jama and King Kenny as Traitors on the BBC series Celebrity Traitors on Thursday night, but viewers were left puzzled by what appeared to be missing scenes leading to his sudden certainty.

After Joanne McNally and Sharon Rooney were eliminated one after the other, Sheen vowed to take revenge against the Traitors. He then told Maya directly that he believed she and Kenny were Traitors, and also named James Acaster as a suspect, correctly identifying all three Traitors.

Fans question sudden confidence

Viewers were stunned by Sheen's sudden accuracy and questioned why he had become so confident so close to the final. Although he had voiced suspicions in earlier episodes, he had not previously been so sure about all of them.

One fan said: "As if Michael Sheen actually named both Maya and Kenny as Traitors. It’s like he has suddenly been inhabited by the spirit of the great detective Miranda."

Another added: "maya jama suddenly getting interrogated by Michael." A third wrote: "why the f**k has Michael suddenly locked in. where has this been all show."

Round table build-up

The round table kicked off before Traitor James was uncovered, due to his own actions. The episode ended with the Faithfuls convinced they knew who the Traitors were, despite the lack of visible reasoning on screen.
