Reality TV star Maura Higgins has been living a whirlwind life, jetting from a surprise appearance at the star-studded Golden Globes to a sun-drenched break in Dubai. The 35-year-old Irish model, fresh from her debut on the US version of Celebrity Traitors, made a glamorous entrance onto the Hollywood scene.
A Star-Studded Night in Beverly Hills
Maura Higgins made her debut at the 83rd Golden Globes ceremony, held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The television personality looked sensational in an elegant black off-the-shoulder gown, exuding old-school Hollywood glamour. She accessorised with a dramatic crinkled golden shawl and a dazzling diamond necklace, styling her brunette bob in voluminous curls.
The evening was marked by a memorable encounter with legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, 54. Taking to Instagram, Maura revealed that Snoop stopped her on the red carpet for a photo together, wrapping an arm around her as they smiled for the camera. This unexpected crossover saw her rubbing shoulders with A-listers including Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus.
From LA Glamour to UAE Sun
Her visit to Los Angeles was brief, as Maura soon shared a snap from Dubai on Thursday. The model displayed her bronzed tan and impressive figure in a black bikini, adding a white cap to her look while soaking up the sun in the United Arab Emirates. The quick transition from red-carpet formality to poolside relaxation showcased her jet-set lifestyle.
The Traitors US Connection
Many fans were initially confused by Maura's presence at the prestigious Hollywood event. However, her recent appearance on Celebrity Traitors US is believed to be the reason for the invitation. The hit reality show, which returned last week, features a cast including Shirley Ballas's son Mark, Donna Kelce, and Lisa Rinna.
Maura has quickly become a viewer favourite, particularly for her explosive row during a heated roundtable with actor Michael Rapaport, 55. The clash occurred when Maura picked up on Rapaport's phrasing after a contestant's murder, accusing him of being a Traitor.
"Why did you say, 'we got rid of'? Does that mean you're a Traitor?" she challenged him. When Rapaport attempted to defend himself, Maura interrupted, stating, "Why did you say 'we'? We didn't - the Traitors did." Later, she was heard muttering, "Maybe just stop talking," a sentiment that resonated with many viewers.
Fans took to social media platform X to praise her confrontational style, with one writing: "Maura being unafraid and standing up to Michael is so far my favoritest part of the new season." Another added: "'Please stop talking' - Maura. Saying what we all feel." Critics of Rapaport branded him "insufferable" and claimed he was "ruining this season."
Michael Rapaport is best known for playing Phoebe's boyfriend Gary on Friends and for roles in My Name is Earl, Justified, and Atypical.
