Sam Mucklow Defends 'S**g' Remark in TOWIE Row

TOWIE star Sam Mucklow has broken his silence after a furious on-screen row with Shelby Tribble, in which he called her a 's**g'. The scene, which aired on Sunday night, saw the 26-year-old former footballer clash with Tribble on a beach in Thailand, prompting widespread criticism from viewers.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Mucklow admitted he regrets using the slur but defended his actions, claiming Tribble had been seeing other men. 'I really regret calling Shelby a s**g because I should know better. She isn’t a s**g and I should never have said it,' he said.

The argument erupted after Tribble confronted Mucklow for allegedly pursuing Chloe Sims' sister Demi just one day after sleeping with her. Mucklow insisted he was unaware of Tribble's feelings, stating: 'I honestly swear I didn’t know Shelby had feelings for me. If I had known then I would have made sure we didn’t have sex.'

Mucklow also criticised Tribble for throwing a drink in his face, describing it as unnecessary and done for television. 'She tried to take my head off my shoulders with that drink. She is acting like we’ve been seeing her and I have cheated on her,' he added.
