Married At First Sight UK star Julia-Ruth has spoken out about her matching tattoo with Joe Wood and her relationship with original match Divarni, days after the explosive finale aired. The reality star, who quit the experiment alongside Joe, admitted she has no plans to remove the permanent ink reading 'Why not?'.
In a candid Q&A on Instagram, Julia-Ruth said: 'To be honest, I think everything happens for a reason... so I'm not going to get the tattoo removed if I'm honest with you.' She added that she does not regret the tattoo, calling it 'not that deep' and stating she does not 'live life trying to erase things that happen'.
Addressing her relationship with Divarni, Julia-Ruth revealed she still wears her wedding ring from the experiment, but on her right hand. She described the experience as 'an amazing experience and memory' and wished Divarni well, despite their romance not working out.
The star also opened up about watching the show back, admitting it was 'a bit like oof' but that she is now in a 'healing phase' and focusing on moving forward. She confirmed she has apologised to those she needed to and is ready to move on.
Julia-Ruth's appearance has also changed dramatically since filming, with the star debuting a new hairstyle on social media, a far cry from the lengthy curls viewers saw on screen.
