MAFS Australia Couple Makes History by Quitting and Returning

Married At First Sight Australia has seen its first couple make history by leaving the experiment during the first dinner party, only to return in a dramatic twist. Natalie Parham and Collins Christian exited the E4 series earlier this week, but Natalie had a change of heart and surprised Collins by returning to their shared apartment in Sydney.

Natalie admitted she had slept on her decision and decided to give the relationship another chance. 'He probably thinks I jetted home to Melbourne on the first flight,' she said. However, she warned Collins that if he continued with 'surface level performance,' she would leave again.

Collins was 'shocked and speechless' to see Natalie. She explained that she still felt there were things to learn about herself and the relationship before calling it quits. She also expressed disappointment that Collins had not supported her during the dinner party, saying she wished he had bolstered her up.

The couple had argued before the dinner party over a lack of romance and connection on their honeymoon. Natalie was in tears during the meal, but Collins failed to notice her distress. She told him she needed honesty and communication, not a mask.

After initially leaving, Natalie returned to say goodbye to the other brides and grooms, stating she was not her happy, bubbly self. The show continues on E4.
