Jordan Banjo stepped away from the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa after a chilling horror film left the cast shrieking in terror. The episode, which aired on Friday, July 3, 2026, saw celebrity sofa critics reviewing shows including Countdown and Clarkson's Farm. However, many appeared visibly shaken when they tuned into the horror film Weapons, according to the Mirror.
Film Plot and Disturbing Scene
The film centres on 17 children from the same classroom who vanish without trace on the same night at the same time. Banjo, a Diversity performer, had to step away after watching scenes alongside fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely. The unsettling moment featured an unsettling character named Aunt Gladys (played by Amy Madigan), who visited a house and requested a bowl rather than a glass of water. Matters took a deeply disturbing turn when she took a wooden stick she had been toying with and dragged it across her hand, slicing it open, leaving Jordan looking utterly horrified.
Jordan's Reaction
Jordan raised a cushion to shield himself from the screen as a man in the film was then shown opening his mouth and vomiting streams of black liquid. "I need a break, I need a break," Jordan declared, as Perri exclaimed: "No!" The dancer then rose to his feet and retreated from the sofa, explaining: "I need a drink. Do you want anything?" However, he quickly returned, telling Perri that upon reaching the kitchen he had noticed a bowl of water on the counter which had startled him. "No!" he exclaimed, settling back down without having fetched the drinks.
