Jessi Ngatikaura, star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has sparked speculation after changing her surname on social media back to her maiden name, Draper. The move comes amid rumours of an alleged affair with Vanderpump Villa's Marciano Brunette.
The reality show, which returned to Hulu and Disney Plus for its third season, features Jessi at the centre of controversy after reports that she and Brunette were seen kissing in Los Angeles. During a conversation with co-star Taylor Frankie Paul, Brunette hinted at intimacy with Ngatikaura.
Speaking to Good Morning America, Jessi described a "raw, vulnerable" period with her husband Jordan during filming. Despite the challenges, she said opening up to her castmates was not difficult, as they are her best friends. Jessi and Jordan married in 2020 and have two children.
Reddit users noted the name change, with some speculating it was for pronunciation reasons or a producer-driven move. However, there is no evidence of a split. Jordan posted a family photo in October with the caption "my favourite people".
On The Viall Files, Jessi admitted: "We're working through things and we're trying our best, but things are a little tricky right now." Although she has been seen without her wedding ring, the couple appear to be attempting reconciliation.
