Happy Valley Star Is Kelvin Fletcher's Half-Sister

Happy Valley actress Keeley Forsyth, who played sex worker Annette in the show's second series, is the older half-sister of Emmerdale and Strictly Come Dancing star Kelvin Fletcher.

Forsyth appeared in the award-winning BBC crime drama alongside Sarah Lancashire's Sergeant Catherine Cawood. The character Annette was introduced as a friend of Leonie, played by Hebe Beardsall, who had been raped by a client.

Beyond Happy Valley, Forsyth has featured in Coronation Street, Waterloo Road, Heartbeat and Emmerdale. Her film credits include Emma Stone's Poor Things, where she played the abusive maid of Alfie Blessington, and the Supergirl movie, in which she portrayed the alien Healer.

Kelvin Fletcher's Rise to Fame

Kelvin Fletcher spent two decades playing farmer Andy Sugden in ITV's Emmerdale. In 2019, he won Strictly Come Dancing with professional partner Oti Mabuse, taking home the glitterball trophy.

After his Strictly win, Fletcher moved with his wife Liz and their four children to a farm near the Peak District National Park. The family now stars in Fletchers' Family Farm, which airs every Sunday on ITV and ITVX.

New Season of Fletchers' Family Farm

Season five of Fletchers' Family Farm has just begun on ITV. The family now lives in a lodge onsite after a fire broke out at their main house last year.

This week's synopsis reveals the family's plans to reclaim more of their farmland. It reads: "The Fletchers start making plans to reclaim more of their farmland, with Kelvin keen to grow oats again, while Liz wants them to try growing maize."

The description adds: "All four children get hands-on during lambing, with nine-year-old Marnie bottle feeding a cade lamb after it is rejected by its mother."
