GK Barry has revealed she believed The Chase's Bradley Walsh "hated" her during their first encounter. The Loose Women panellist claimed the presenter did not seem happy with her during their time together on Soccer Aid for UNICEF.
Uncomfortable first meeting
Speaking with guest Chloe Burrows on her podcast Saving Grace, the duo discussed their experience meeting him at the charitable event. GK stated: "Bradley Walsh hated Chloe and me. If there was a word for more than hated, it would be that."
She continued: "Do you remember we walked out and he was there and I went, 'I love The Chase', and he went, 'Get your boots on'. I was like... S**t."
Charity event tensions
Chloe interjected: "Has anyone told him it's for charity? For a laugh? To raise money for UNICEF? A really important cause?" She bluntly retorted: "We're not in the Prem," before GK recounted another uncomfortable encounter.
The former I'm A Celeb contestant proceeded to describe an incident involving microphones for a social media clip. She remembered the ITV host shouting, "Quick. Get them back on," as she admitted her first thought was "f***ing hell".
GK Barry's Loose Women future
GK has been a panellist on Loose Women in recent years, and remains on the show following the huge ITV cuts announced last year. A scheduling overhaul means the programme now broadcasts for just 30 weeks annually, yet GK pledged to remain for "as long as they want me".
She recently said: "I love Loose Women. I always look forward to doing a show on there because it's always such good vibes. The women are hilarious. It is nice that we've still got a show on daytime TV that's just women-focused. You can't beat it."
In the same year she joined Loose Women, GK headed Down Under for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, in the series where Coleen Rooney finished as runner-up to Danny Jones. GK herself came fifth.
