Fans 'work out' Celebrity Traitors murder after spotting clue

Celebrity Traitors fans believe they have worked out who was murdered in the first episode after spotting what they claim is an obvious clue. The BBC show ended on a cliffhanger, with James Acaster and Amol Rajan facing the two Traitors, Maya Jama and Richard E Grant, to learn their fate.

With the pair face to face with the 'murderers', they had to plead their case to be saved and recruited or face instant 'death' and become the first person to leave the show. Following the cliffhanger, there has been much discussion about who might go and who might become a Traitor, with a big twist expected.

Fans spot clue in first episode

However, fans of the BBC show are convinced they have worked out who is off, claiming BBC bosses left a rather large clue in the first episode about who would be waving goodbye. One fan said: "Amol's diary room bits scream 'I'm not seeing any more of this.'" Another replied: "He got a lottt of screen time, think he’s a goner." A third shared: "Definitely Amol got murdered."

James Acaster panic attack 'proves' he stays

Fans are also convinced that reports James had a panic attack on set 'proves' he will stay. "Too much in the news about James being so stressed the others in there had to calm him down. So far he hasn't had time in there for all that. (I guess)," one wrote. Another added: "The fact that we’ve already heard that Acaster has a panic attack at a round table at some point in the show surely spoils that it’s Amol who goes - unless Acaster had the panic attack while the traitors were being chosen?"

"If it’s true (I remember reading that he had a panic attack but don’t remember if it was specified it was a roundtable) that’s a massive ball to have dropped for the first cliffhanger," a third shared. Viewers will have to wait until this evening to find out who was recruited and who was murdered.
