Emmerdale viewers are predicting the return of another soap legend following Sadie King's dramatic comeback to the village this week.
Sadie (Patsy Kensit) arrived back in the Dales after the death of Jimmy (Nick Miles), who died when his car crashed into a marquee at Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Dawn Taylor's (Olivia Bromley) wedding. After paying her respects, Sadie delivered a devastating revelation to Jimmy's wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), revealing that Jimmy had been in a relationship with her for the past three years.
Although Nicola initially refused to believe her, Sadie produced proof, leaving the grieving Nicola even more distraught after learning that Jimmy had told Sadie he had split from Nicola years ago.
Fans speculate on Kelly Windsor's return
While more drama involving Sadie is expected, fans believe another character could be heading back to the village. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, viewers suspect Kelly Windsor (Adele Silva) could return now that her child Elliot has been left without a father following Jimmy's death.
“I wonder whether Kelly Windsor will return for Elliott?? That would be devastating for Nicola,” said one person. Someone else wrote: “I was thinking that too.” A third penned: “Wonder if she will come back?”
Kelly Windsor's history in the Dales
Adele Silva joined the ITV soap as Kelly Windsor in 1993, introduced as the half-sister of Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth), who died in 2014. Adele remained as Kelly until 2000, then returned in 2005 for a two-year stint and again in 2011 for a three-month stay.
During her time on the show, Kelly had several failed romances with residents, including Roy Glover (Nicky Evans), teacher Tom Bainbridge (Jeremy Turner-Welch) and Jimmy King, whom she became engaged to. In 2011, Kelly departed for good.
Life after Emmerdale
After leaving the soap, Adele took on roles in Hollyoaks as Angela Brown, the film How To Stop Being A Loser, which starred Richard E. Grant and Martin Compston, Casualty and the gangster film We Still Kill the Old Way.
