Emmerdale confirms who will expose DS Ramsden – not Kim

DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) is caught red-handed at Home Farm by Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), who immediately senses something is amiss, threatening her plan to destroy Kim Tate (Claire King).

Thea's scheme unravels

Thea had learned that Kim was away and saw an opportunity to break into Home Farm. She had been using Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) to snoop at the estate, but Serena refused to help because she was working at the pub.

When Thea arrived, the residents had left for a clay pigeon shooting event organized by Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) as a joint stag and hen do with Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley). Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) returned early to use the loo and found Ramsden in the house.

Graham's suspicions rise

Thea told Lydia she was investigating Dr Caitlin Todd's (Caroline Harker) death and wanted to speak to people within a five-mile radius. She also mentioned checking the estate's gun licences. Lydia called Joe, but Graham answered and came to the house.

Graham pointed out that checking gun licences isn't typical for a detective sergeant, and Thea's expression suggested she knew she had a fight on her hands.

As a former SAS officer, Graham is not easily fooled, so DS Ramsden will need to tell a convincing lie to leave him certain she isn't up to something else.
