Dan Walker has shared a theory that Michael Sheen will make it to the final of Celebrity Traitors, alongside comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Joanne McNally. The Channel Five presenter bases his prediction not on insider knowledge but on airtime and the show's narrative so far.
After five episodes, Michael Sheen has remained quiet and has received only one vote at a round table, from actual Traitor James Acaster. Dan Walker picked up on this, writing on social media: "Someone told me last year that they edit Traitors in reverse order… so, they start with the final episode and then work back to the beginning."
He continued: "With that in mind - based on airtime, narrative so far and the fact that it’s good to keep someone who is so sure but wide of the mark -my stab in the dark is that Michael, Romesh and Joanne are there at the end. *I will delete this if I’m wrong*."
Fans disagree with the prediction
Not everyone agrees with him. One fan wrote: "Joanne threw herself off the tower last night with the bizarre claim she was at the hide and seek game."
Final details confirmed
His prediction comes as details of the final have been confirmed. The 2026 series is due to be shown on Friday, October 30, at 8pm on BBC One. The final episode is scheduled to last 80 minutes, making it the longest episode in the show’s history so far. When the final episode finishes at 9.20pm, there is due to be a 40-minute episode of the spin-off show Uncloaked.
New traitor recruited
Meanwhile, after Rob Beckett was murdered in plain sight, and mathematician Hannah Fry was banished, YouTube star King Kenny has been recruited as a traitor. The 29-year-old accepted Maya Jama and James Acaster’s offer to join them following the dramatic roundtable on Thursday night.
After seeing his fellow traitors for the first time, the social media star was shocked but then asked them for loyalty. "Guys, just don’t do me dirty. Let’s try playing clean game where all three of us get to the final," he said. During a confessional on the BBC programme, Kenny added: "I think being a faithful was fun, but being a traitor is going to be better. The faithful are doomed!"
Celebrity Traitors is on again on Friday, October 16, from 8pm.
