Coronation Street spoilers for next week reveal a long-lost family member for Bernie Winter-Alahan, a deepening mystery around Lucy Parkinson's mum, and Sarah Platt's prison struggles taking a dangerous turn.
Sarah's prison ordeal intensifies
Sarah remains in prison, and after Bethany reassures her that Harry is fine, fellow inmate Kacey enters her cell and unnerves Sarah by knowing Harry's name. Later, Sarah finds a photo of Harry with his face scrubbed out, and Kacey mentions missing pool balls from the recreation room.
Kacey shows Sarah pictures of Harry at a friend's house, prompting Sarah to call Adam Barlow, who confirms Harry is at Lottie's house and collects him. Sarah stuffs stolen pool balls into a sock as a makeshift weapon, and later approaches Kacey's cell with it. Meanwhile, Kit tells Bethany he plans to threaten Kacey's son, but Bernie intervenes.
Bernie's aunt arrives
Newcomer Celeste spots Bernie across the street and calls her name, but Bernie gives her the cold shoulder. Celeste reveals she is Bernie's mum's twin sister, leaving Todd gobsmacked. Todd later tells Bernie that her Aunty Celeste is dying and suggests reconnecting, but Bernie is unfazed and opens up to Dev about the rift between her mum and Celeste.
Lucy's secret call
After Lucy accuses Jodie Ramsey of spying, she asks Tim to take her to see her mum at the undertakers but panics at the door. Tim confesses his guilt over her mum's death. Later, Lucy vents her hatred for Sally and Tim, throws popcorn over Joanie Michaelis, and takes a secret call from her dad, who tells her to stick to their story.
Sally admits she's not sure she can cope with Lucy's issues, and when social worker Ruth probes Lucy about her foster home, Lucy's response remains uncertain.
Ollie arrested, Brian's return
Ollie Driscoll is arrested on suspicion of assault after pinning Jake Windass to the floor, though Jake had only used water on Christina Boyd. PC Jess Heywood warns Ollie he could face a custodial sentence. Meanwhile, Brian Packham appears at the Rovers with Maggie, and a smitten Brian quizzes Eva on how to woo her.
Christina confides in Glenda that she's barely heard from George, but George returns home and tells Christina he's had time to think, leaving their future uncertain.
