Coronation Street fans believe they have worked out who may be shot in upcoming scenes, as Jodie Ramsey continues her efforts to steal sister Shona Platt's life. Viewers of the ITV soap, filmed in Salford, have shared their predictions ahead of a confirmed flashforward that shows a casualty being treated at No.8 Coronation Street.
Jodie's plan to take over Shona's life
The long-lost sisters were reunited in January, after Shona and David were involved in a horror crash. Jodie was seen tied up in the back of a van driven by Emmerdale's Graham Foster, who had got caught up in the traffic chaos. After escaping and ending up in hospital, Jodie came face-to-face with a then-pregnant Shona, who was not happy to see her younger sibling.
Feeling sorry for Jodie after Shona's frosty reception, husband David Platt invited her to stay at No.8. But Jodie has caused trouble for her family and has made some Weatherfield residents targets of her unusual games, linked to a trinket box.
Her plans to ruin her sister's life have taken precedence. Having previously tried to get between Shona and David, Jodie is now attempting to make Shona and her loved ones think she is suffering from post-natal depression as she struggles with baby Harper. In upcoming scenes, Jodie makes her next move, telling David he "deserves someone that will treat you right."

It has been confirmed that a flashforward will show the living room at No.8 strewn with someone's belongings as a paramedic tends to a casualty on the floor. Ahead of the drama, fans have shared their theories.

We know Jodie survives because she's signed another year on the show. So is Shona really going to get shot for the 2nd time? Kylie has already been killed - David can't lose his 2nd wife."
Not everyone agrees it will be either woman. @HighStreetRichB replied: "I think it’s Doug who gets shot." @gregayala7 echoed: "I think neither Shona nor Jodie non of them will get shot but I think there's gotta be a possibility that Doug will be the one who gets shot or it could end up being Lily or Bethany."
