National Highways has confirmed a series of overnight closures on motorways across Greater Manchester between Monday, 5 October, and Thursday, 8 October. Sections of the M6, M60, M62, M56, M61 and A34 will be shut to traffic, along with several other routes in the region.
The closures are planned overnight, typically starting between 18:00 and 23:59 and ending by 05:00 or 06:00 the following morning. Drivers are advised to check the full list below before setting out.
