Coronation Street fans believe they have worked out Bethany Platt's next dilemma after it was revealed she slept with Kit Green, and amid news she will rekindle a previous short-lived romance with Ryan Connor.
During Friday's (September 4) episode of the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, viewers were left wondering who Kit seemingly had a romantic encounter with. At the end of the episode, he was seen at No.8 on a date with Jodie Ramsey, which saw her older sister, and Kit's former fling, Shona Platt, gatecrash.
Kit and Bethany's secret encounter
As the episodes ended, Kit was seen back at the flat alone, emerging from his bedroom where a wine glass sat abandoned with lipstick marks on it. He was seen stopping the music on a record player before moving to the sofa, hinting at a romantic encounter.
It was then in Monday's (September 7) Corrie episode that it was revealed Bethany Platt was the one Kit had slept with. Meeting in a dark alleyway, Kit was heard saying, "We slept together, and it was a massive mistake, so stop calling me and stop texting me," before Bethany appeared.
She hit back: "Oh right, so now you want me to leave you alone. Why didn’t you say that last night?" As Corrie fans know, it is quite the betrayal as Kit's relationship with her mum, Sarah Platt, only ended because she has been put behind bars, on remand, for the murder of Theo Silverton.
Fans predict a pregnancy storyline
Bethany then walked off, with Kit worried about what she may do next. However, he also had bigger things to be concerned about, as in the same episode, he was seen being told he had stage 3 breast cancer, which had already spread to his lymph nodes.
Meanwhile, new Corrie spoilers have revealed that next week, Bethany will be seen heading on a date with Ryan Connor. It comes after fans spotted a little spark between the two characters last week and were quick to suggest they may be revisiting their connection, several years after their last dalliance.
