Celebrity Traitors fans 'rumble finalist's identity' after leak

Celebrity Traitors fans are convinced they know who makes it all the way to the final of the hit BBC show. While the series is currently airing, it was pre-filmed and only a small number of people know who was crowned the winner or winners. On screen, the Traitors - Maya, James A and Hannah - face a big decision, as they have to murder one of four stars: Leigh Anne, Romesh, Rob and Ross.

Leak at showbiz parties

Those scenes have yet to air, but some fans believe they already know how the series ends. This year, it has been reported that BBC bosses are panicking after talk of the finalists has been circulating at high-profile parties.

"Because of the leak, who makes the final is now a hot topic at showbiz parties. It's also spread how certain players get on, not helped by the fact that another source has been suggesting who's been placed for interviews around the final," a source said.

"It's vital the leaks don't make it to gossip forums online and on social media, where fans can find the information. The BBC is hoping that anyone happening upon the info or hearing it from friends will help keep the secrets of the castle and stay quiet. The problem is a small group will be aware of The Celebrity Traitors' secrets, including those who work on the show, the celebrities who ran the course and possibly their close family and friends."

Fans spot 'Big Dogs' clue

As speculation grows over the finalists, fans have been discussing the series so far and believe they have found a clue left by BBC bosses about who might go all the way.

Last year, many fans theorised that the two 'Big Dogs' - Jonathan Ross and Stephen Fry - would spearhead either side of the castle. Jonathan was a Traitor until he was voted out, and Stephen was a Faithful.

That theory has continued to plague this year's celebrities too, with fans suggesting a similar approach was taken for Hollywood actors Richard E Grant and Michael Sheen, named a Traitor and a Faithful respectively.

As fans discussed who the 'Big Dogs' were this year, one fan suggested: "Michael Sheen was the first celebrity shown, so I guess the BBC thinks it's him," with another replying: "I reckon Michael Sheen also thinks it’s him but he’s probably disappointed with the airtime he’s got over the first two eps."

"I don’t think he’s the type at all to be disappointed by such things. Also, the lack of airtime at this stage suggests he will stay in for a while," another fan added, with a fourth writing: "His lack of airtime so far probably means he’s gonna go deep into the competition."
