Celebrity Traitors fans have flooded social media with complaints about the current series, with many saying the BBC show has become 'boring' and 'dull'. Season two began on 1 October with a star-studded cast of some of the UK's biggest showbiz names, but viewers say even the famous faces have not been enough to keep them entertained.
Although the celebrities are providing all the deception and underhanded tactics needed for a juicy series, some viewers are not impressed with how the contestants have been behaving. Quite a few fans are disappointed with the second season and have taken to social media to make their views known.
Fans share their disappointment
One person wrote: "This series of Celebrity Traitors is so boring, I'm devastated." Another added: "Same. It had such promise too as the cast was brilliant to start with." A third complained: "I hate to say it but I'm finding #CelebrityTraitors a bit boring."
An eagle-eyed fan is convinced they have figured out why: "Too many recruitments, it's boring, too many Traitors this year." Someone else also shared their frustration: "This series of #CelebrityTraitors just isn't hitting."
Traitors 'not working together'
The cast have already banished two Traitors. One viewer said: "We have Traitors who openly hate being Traitors, won't make decisions, not working together and you don't see them really having each others back." They added: "Apart from @MayaJama, if they were all like her, it would be so different."
One viewer said they have "watched every UK series so far" and admitted they are finding the current Celebrity version "rather dull".
