Speculation is mounting that a former Love Island winner is set for a dramatic return to the villa, just months after his high-profile split. Casey O'Gorman, who won the second series of Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, has dropped a major hint that he's signed up for the upcoming series.
Social Media Clue Sparks Fan Frenzy
The 29-year-old reality star took to his Instagram story to share a photo from a motorway in South Africa, captioned "We meet again." This location is highly significant, as the Love Island: All Stars series is filmed in Franschhoek, South Africa, which is just 47 miles outside of Cape Town. The timing is crucial, with the new series due to launch on ITV2 and ITVX in January 2025.
Casey's potential return comes after a whirlwind year. He first appeared on the main Love Island show in 2023, before entering the inaugural All Stars series in 2024. He went on to win that series in February with partner Gabby Allen, splitting the £50,000 prize. The couple split in May 2024, and Casey later competed in the US spin-off, Love Island Games, in September.
Who Else Could Be Heading to the Villa?
ITV has teased that the new series will feature islanders with "unfinished business," and Casey is not the only big name rumoured for a comeback. Presenter Maya Jama is confirmed to be back hosting, with Iain Stirling returning as narrator.
Other contestants linked to the South African villa include:
- Bella Hussan (Series 5), who parted ways with her sportsman boyfriend this year.
- Harrison Solomon, whose romance with Lauren Wood ended weeks after the 2024 series. An insider suggested, "The break-up is still very fresh, but Harrison knows that there is a limited window to take these opportunities."
- Jess Harding, the 2023 main series winner. A source said, "Jess is ready to find love and have some fun in the sun, after a period of me time."
What This Means for All Stars
Casey O'Gorman's potential return so soon after his victory and break-up signifies the show's evolving format, where former winners and fan favourites are given another chance at love—and screen time. His move would make him one of the most experienced islanders to ever re-enter the villa, having appeared in three major iterations of the franchise in under two years.
With filming set to begin imminently in South Africa, fans won't have long to wait to see if the hints are true. Love Island: All Stars returns to ITV2 and ITVX in January 2025.
