Big Brother's Millie hits out at 'unfair' eviction after early exit

Evicted Big Brother housemate Millie has criticised her eviction, saying she felt "hard done by" and that she had "much more to give" as fans flooded her with support.

Millie was the first housemate to leave the show after being nominated by secret Mole Tays and accomplice Philip. In a statement on Instagram, she admitted she was unsure whether to post it, adding: "I've been thinking a lot recently about my eviction and my experience on Big Brother. As grateful as I am for the opportunity and the experience, I can't help but feel a little hard done by when I look back at how everything happened."

Bedroom dispute

Reflecting on launch night and the bedroom situation between her and Pauline, she added she went out for a cigarette but missed the bedroom opening and was then left without a bed. Millie added: "I was more than happy to share with Pauline. It genuinely wasn't an issue for me whatsoever." She then said her and Pauline "never once argued over the beds", despite it being used as a reason for the two being up for eviction.

Millie added: "If I had been nominated for a reason l felt was fair and accurate, I would have accepted it and taken it on the chin without a second thought."

Support from fans

Millie went on to say she was grateful for the experience, but made huge sacrifices, including leaving her job, meaning leaving so early in the game has been "difficult to process". Admitting she needed to move on, Millie said she had "much more to give" as viewers didn't see the "person I really am" as she went on to thank fans for their support.

The support poured in as one person replied: "So proud of you, even coming as far as you did is a massive achievement! Wish everyone could have seen you longer on tv! Would have been so much better having you in the house longer!" Another commented: "You are amazing! And most definitely were robbed and deserved to stay in longer", as a third stated: "I don’t think they should evict on week one, it should be that everyone gets 2 weeks minimum as a week isn’t enough to see the housemates personalities etc."

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
