Big Brother fans are convinced they have recognised newcomer Twinks as the house is set to see yet another huge bust up. Following Johanne's eviction on Friday (October 2), tonight's instalment will see newcomers Twinks and Catrin being welcomed into the house after their iconic and unexpected arrival.
But as the new housemates settle in, viewers at home are convinced they have seen Twinks on their screens before. The 36-year-old fashion stylist and hype girl from London admits she is a "big character" and has a "cheeky, fun, light, joyful energy" as well as being a "professional party starter".
Fans spot Twinks in old videos
Despite her social media accounts being hidden as she enters the iconic house, fans have instantly recognised her as they say she has a huge following. Over on Reddit, one person shared what they believed to be an old Instagram video.
They posted: "After some deep digging, I found this video by new BB HM and fashion stylist Katie Burnett, a.k.a. 'Twinks'. She's also a university lecturer in degrees & masters courses. This video is from 2020, when she was 30. I'm intrigued already! How will she fare in the house? Roll on Sunday night..."
One viewer replied: "She was the stylist on Misfits Salon on the BBC. So she's been on telly before but it's not available on the Iplayer anymore. Can anybody find any clips?"
Another stated: "I won't take any Twinks slander - she's a babe. Have followed her for years and she has a very good heart."
A third added: "Yeah she seems interesting! I saw she has a website as well", as a fourth commented: "Omg I've seen her a few times on sm, her whacky dress sense, weird clothings as well. I didn't know it was her. Interesting."
Over on X, another shared their recognition adding: "it turns out that Twinks has already technically been on telly...ish as part of BBC Three's Misfits Salon (during its online run)."
Twinks at centre of witch bust up
As she barely settles into the Big Brother house, Twinks will find herself at the centre of chaos tonight amid an explosive bust up. In a sneak peek, Twinks admits she identifies as a witch.
When asked if she has any "clair-visual abilities", Twinks replied: "I don’t know, I don’t think so. I believe in energy, I believe in the power of people. You know, I believe in, like how can we believe it’s not just us out there, but I’m not, I’m not like classically, traditionally religious."
However, as news of her being a witch spreads like wildfire in the house, a series of arguments breaks out amongst certain housemates.
In a clip shared on social media, Twinks can be heard telling Omar: "If you're scared of witches, you're scared of the matriarchy" before she is seemingly upset by comments made. Omar states that Witch has a "negative meaning" as Yasmin later tells him to "have some f***** respect."
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
