Big Brother fans fume over 'hierarchy' conspiracy

Big Brother viewers have been left fuming at their television screens tonight, expressing frustration over the recurring 'hierarchy' theme in the house.

Last night's episode (October 20) saw a huge nominations twist that resulted in Twinks, Catrin, Harry and Sam facing the public vote this week. As the divide in the house deepens, viewers must now vote for who they wish to evict as another housemate will be forced to say their goodbyes on Friday.

Tensions rise in the House of Time

Tonight's episode (October 21) brought more chaos and drama as tensions continue to rise in the House of Time. Up for nomination this week, Sam spoke to Big Brother mentioning once again the apparent 'hierarchy' in the house.

Concerns have previously been raised amongst housemates that there are those at the top, the 'prince and princesses' before those at the bottom, with the hierarchy comment being brought up regularly.

Tonight's episode saw Sam speaking to Big Brother as he admitted he was going to make a stand and 'fight', but viewers at home were unimpressed with the reoccurring theme.

Viewers react on X

Taking to X, one person wrote: "Fed up of hearing about the 'hierarchy', lorrrrd", as another echoed: "Sam, Catrin and Twinks are actually perpetuating the 'hierarchy' more than Rochelle and Phillip are at this point."

A third added: "Sam forcing this hierarchy thing so badly is making me cringe, he's a viewer, he knows what he's doing." A fourth stated: "Fs Sam there is no hierarchy. It's embarrassing. Naturally you like some people and you don't like others. Naturally groups form. It's normal, there's no conspiracy."

A fifth commented: "Sam is borderline creating the divide by being obsessed with the hierarchy thing and dripping it into peoples ears."

Who started the hierarchy talk?

Some viewers were quick to pick up that Sam was not the first person to mention about the hierarchy as one person wrote: "'We talk about this hierarchy thing'. Yeah we know you do Frankie….. you're the one that brought it up to Sam in the first place!"

Another replied: "Am I crazy? Was it not Frankie and Lynx who started the hierarchy conversation and called Sam over to sit? I remember that happening."

But some viewers agreed with the Big Brother housemate, adding: "Lowkey want Twinks or Sam to win just to p***the hierarchal group off. Their faces will be a picture." Another replied: "Sam clocking the double standards PERIOD."

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
