The latest Big Brother twist has been confirmed by The Group Chat hosts GK Barry and Kate Lawler, with the winning team in an upcoming task gaining a killer nomination.
Following the latest episode, the presenters of ITV's companion series revealed the shake-up to nominations. The current series has moved from 'the house of revelation' to 'the house of power'.
Gemma Collins' brief return
The twist began with the entrance of Gemma Collins, who spent 48 hours among the housemates. Scenes shown during Monday night's episode (October 12) saw Gemma spend her final day and make an abrupt exit.
During her time, the contestants were split into red and blue teams, with captains picked by Gemma herself. Rob and Sam were chosen to select their teams and each had to nominate someone over the last two days to face a task.
Task outcome and nomination twist
Tonight, Twinks beat Lynx by building a four-layer tower of cards. The red team were treated to a pizza party with Gemma, while the blue team were left out. The blue team were also not permitted to sit on the sofas and could only shower for two minutes.
Following the main show, Kate Lawler and GK Barry interviewed Gemma and reflected on her stint. They then revealed this week's twist to nominations. Normal nominations will still take place, but there could be an extra person up for the vote.
GK Barry said: "Whoever wins this task as a group, they get to decide who is up for eviction." Kate added: "The winning team is going to be in possession of a killer nomination."
Fan reactions
Taking to X following the announcement, one fan wrote: "Killer nom for Phillip would be just lovely." Another added: "Oh a killer nomination. I need red team to win."
Someone else said: "This actually sounds exciting. I wonder if 3 will go up for eviction the, double eviction maybe?"
Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
