Julie Hesmondhalgh, the latest celebrity banished from Celebrity Traitors, has tipped fellow Faithful Leigh-Anne Pinnock to go far in the competition. The actress was voted out as a suspected Traitor, only to reveal she was actually a Faithful.
Praise for Pinnock's pregnancy secret
Hesmondhalgh praised the Little Mix star for keeping her pregnancy secret during filming. 'You know she was pregnant when we were filming it as well, I couldn't believe it when I heard that afterwards. I mean I was tired. None of us knew. How she did it I have no idea.'
She added: 'I think Leigh-Anne might go quite a long way actually,' before clarifying: 'That's not inside info, that's purely off vibes. That's me as a viewer, I'm here as a fan.'
Upcoming face-to-face murder
At the end of Friday's episode, four Faithfuls were summoned for a possible face-to-face murder: Ross Kemp, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The three Traitors – Maya Jama, Professor Hannah Fry, and James Acaster – must choose one of the Faithfuls hiding in crypts in the woods.
Leigh-Anne holds a secret shield that could scupper their plans. Beyond best guesses, only time will tell how events unfold, with several near misses when it comes to spoilers reaching the public.
Earlier, Richard E. Grant inadvertently revealed he was a Traitor during a BBC Radio 6 interview, with his answer cut out. It has also been reported that the finalists were leaked by a friend of one of this year's contestants.
