Katie Price's Husband Lee Andrews Accused of Begging for Cash in Desperate Voice Notes
Katie Price's Husband Lee Andrews Accused of Begging for Cash

Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has been embroiled in a scandal after a US-based businesswoman reportedly revealed she received a series of desperate voice notes from him, begging for cash. The anonymous woman disclosed that these messages arrived just one week before Andrews proposed to the former glamour model, Katie Price, 47, following their whirlwind one-week romance.

Desperate Pleas for Financial Assistance

In the voice notes, which were reportedly heard by The Sun, Lee Andrews, a 42-year-old Dubai-based businessman who claims to be a millionaire, allegedly tried to persuade the woman to send him money. The amounts requested ranged from £1,100 to £2,500 on multiple occasions since May of last year, under the guise of a business opportunity.

As the woman grew uneasy and hesitated to transfer funds, Andrews' messages reportedly became increasingly frantic. In one instance, he was heard saying, 'If you can help me or send Western Union 3000 that would help me so much. I could just do with a big hug really. You don't know how desperate it's been, the last couple of months of me trying to survive.'

Allegations of Financial Struggles and Manipulation

Despite presenting himself as a wealthy entrepreneur, Andrews allegedly confessed to being cash-strapped, claiming he was surviving on 20 pence ready meals while awaiting payments from his business, Aura Sustainable Vehicles & Energy BVI, to clear from Kenya. The woman told The Sun that he even stated he was forced to live off packets of rice due to his financial woes.

In a troubling twist, the business arrangement reportedly turned personal. Andrews is said to have told the woman he would 'love her' if she sent him cash and referred to her as 'beautiful'. When she refused, he allegedly swore at her and called her a time waster. The woman admitted she nearly sent money because he was 'so persuasive' but ultimately decided against it.

Multiple Accusers Come Forward

This is not the first time Andrews has faced such allegations. His ex-girlfriend, Alana Percival, 32, has spoken out, branding him 'embarrassing' and comparing him to the Tinder Swindler, a reference to the Netflix documentary about conman Simon Leviev. Percival claimed that four women have contacted her in the past two weeks, all alleging that Andrews tried to scam them out of money.

In an Instagram Story post seen by The Sun, Percival wrote, 'Another woman sending me voices on how he tried to scam her… 4 people in 2 weeks reached out to me sending me all sorts of voice recordings. Self claimed multimillionaire or billionaire my f***ing a**e. Begging women around the world for £3000 this was only in January!'

Background of the Controversial Marriage

Katie Price stunned fans last month when she announced her marriage to Andrews after a rapid one-week courtship. Since then, a string of accusations has surfaced regarding the true nature of his finances, with claims that his assertions about wealth, business acumen, and celebrity connections are false.

Percival also revealed that Andrews had proposed to her in a lavish manner strikingly similar to his proposal to Price just 16 weeks later, adding to the suspicions surrounding his intentions. She alleged he is 'stuck in Dubai on a travel ban', further complicating the narrative.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Lee Andrews for comment on these allegations. He has previously denied all claims made against him. As more women come forward with similar stories, the controversy continues to unfold, casting a shadow over his marriage to Katie Price and raising questions about his financial dealings.
