Tony Iommi, Black Sabbath legend, has announced his first solo album in 21 years, titled From the Dark. The first single, "World Alone," was released today, July 29, 2026.
First Solo Album in Over Two Decades
At 78, Iommi continues to create following Black Sabbath's final show at the Back To The Beginning concert in Birmingham in 2025. Ozzy Osbourne, the band's frontman, died shortly after that performance.
From the Dark will be released on October 23, 2026, via BMG Records. The eight-track album features vocalist Jorn Lande on all songs.
