Sienna Miller Reveals Toddler Is Toughest Parenting Challenge
Sienna Miller: Toddler Hardest of Three Kids

Sienna Miller has opened up about the realities of raising a teenager, toddler, and newborn all at the same time. During Thursday's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 44-year-old actor, who welcomed her third baby last month, was asked about the difficulties of parenting.

The Toddler Wins Hands Down

“I would have said the teenage girl would be harder to juggle until the transatlantic flight I took yesterday with the toddler and the newborn,” she replied. “The toddler now wins hands down. It was an absolute disaster. There’s no negotiating.”

“And then the looks people give you on the flight. I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ The baby’s screaming, [the toddler’s] screaming. I got to the line, the immigration line, and just broke down.”

Family Details

In addition to her newborn — whose name and sex have not been publicly revealed — Miller and her 29-year-old boyfriend, Oli Green, have a two-year-old daughter whose name has also been kept private. The American Sniper star also shares her 13-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with her ex Tom Sturridge.

Surprise Appearance on The Tonight Show

Miller also said on The Tonight Show that she was surprised to be on the talk show only three weeks after giving birth. “It’s crazy to be talking words and wearing a dress. What has happened from pajama gate?” she told host Jimmy Fallon, who asked: “Do you even know where you are right now?”

“Nope, not a clue,” she jokingly responded.

Third Baby Announcement

Miller confirmed the arrival of her third child last week during an interview with E! News. “It’s happened. I have a tiny baby next door. It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging. I’m on very little sleep, but I’m madly in love with my baby,” she said.

In December, she announced her pregnancy by wearing a sheer white Givenchy gown to The Fashion Awards. “I didn’t realize it would be quite that see-through in the camera lights,” she told The Telegraph in March about her look. “I felt confident. I had a press junket the following morning and thought it would be a good way to get the news of my pregnancy out there beforehand.”

Pregnancy in Her Forties

Miller said being pregnant in her forties was “the best” during a March interview with Glamour. “Having had a baby at 29, and then having a baby at 42, and now 44, it’s so much easier when you don’t have the conflict of feeling scattered and like you want to be doing X, Y, Z,” she said. “If I’m in bed at 9 p.m. with a book, I’m so happy now. And now I’ve got the excuse to do it. Life is in a more grounded space. I think the 30s are chaos. You’re like, 'I want to settle down. I want kids.’”
