Sam Fender has reduced ticket prices for his 2027 UK stadium tour after promising fans he would get them changed, with new prices now uniform across every date. Standing tickets are now £85, while seats cost £55, £75 and £95.
The announcement came hours after the singer publicly condemned the original fees, which had appeared online on Friday. Newcastle was the cheapest location initially, with standing tickets priced at £98.60 and seats at £86.50, £103 and £112.90. Every other city offered a 'front standing' option, with Wembley fans facing £130 for that ticket.
Fans' Complaints Prompted Change
Complaints poured in after the prices were published, and Sam responded directly on Instagram, telling fans: 'I'm not happy with these prices, they're getting changed.' He explained he had no idea front standing would be offered, adding: 'It's b******s and It won't be happening on this tour.'
On Saturday night, he posted to his Instagram story to confirm the prices had been changed, with the same rates now applying to every tour date.
Front Standing Removed
Confirming the new prices, Sam wrote: 'I've managed to get Front Standing tickets removed from the UK stadium tour. Whoever buys a standing ticket gets as much chance as anyone to be at the front.'
He added: 'No more 120 quid standing tickets either. Costs are astronomical compared to two years ago, I can't control the venue and ticketing fees, that's a sad reality of today's industry.'
The tour, announced as Proper Massive 2027, will see Sam play St James' Park in Newcastle, Manchester's Etihad, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Murrayfield in Edinburgh, Wembley and Dublin's Marlay Park. The pre-sale begins on Wednesday, with the general sale starting at 9.30am on Friday, October 30.
