Radiohead have announced an official resale date after tickets for their 2025 UK and European tour sold out within hours of general sale. The band, who will play 20 arena shows across five cities starting in November, urged fans not to purchase from third-party platforms, warning that such tickets are not valid.
The tour marks Radiohead's first live performances since 2018, with concerts scheduled in Madrid, Bologna, Copenhagen, Berlin and London. Their UK residency includes four nights at The O2 in Greenwich on November 21, 22, 24 and 25. Tickets were allocated via a registration system that prioritised fans living near venues, with successful registrants receiving an unlock code to purchase up to four tickets.
Following the sell-out, the band took to Instagram Stories to announce that a few more tickets may be released to registered fans at a later date. They added: 'Please don't be tempted to buy from third party ticketing platforms. Those tickets are not real.'
Drummer Philip Selway said the band reunited to rehearse last year 'just for the hell of it' after a seven-year pause, which led to the decision to play shows. 'For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead,' he added. The tour announcement followed a series of flyers appearing in the cities they will visit.
Radiohead's most recent live performance was in August 2018 in Philadelphia, concluding the 'A Moon Shaped Pool' tour. The band have not released a new album since that 2017 record, though members have been busy with solo projects, including Thom Yorke's work with The Smile.
