Nile Rodgers and CHIC have confirmed a headline performance at Haydock Park Racecourse on Friday, August 6 2027. The group, led by multiple Grammy Award winner Nile Rodgers, will bring their set of well-known pop anthems from the past five decades to Merseyside after performing two nights at Bootle's Salt and Tar festival in August.

Nile Rodgers said: "Haydock Park, we’ve missed you! We’re excited to return on Friday August 6th with our all-killer-no-filler set of hits and we can’t wait to turn the racecourse into one huge dancefloor."
Nile Rodgers has written, produced, and performed on records that have sold more than 750 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide. He has created classics such as 'Le Freak' and 'Good Times', and produced for David Bowie ('Let's Dance'), Diana Ross ('Upside Down,' 'I'm Coming Out'), Duran Duran ('Notorious'), and Madonna ('Like a Virgin,' 'Material Girl').
Recent Collaborations and Line-Up
In recent years, he has collaborated with artists including Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Daft Punk, Avicii, Disclosure and Sam Smith.

Nile Rodgers and CHIC join previously announced headliner Olly Murs, who will perform on June 19 2027. Tickets for Nile Rodgers and CHIC go on sale at 10am on Friday, November 6 via The Jockey Club website.
