The 54th annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville on 11 November, with a number of virtual performances due to the coronavirus pandemic. Keith Urban, nominated for three awards, will give an intimate performance of 'God Whispered Your Name' from his home in Australia.
Urban is currently based in New South Wales with his wife Nicole Kidman and their daughters, Sunday and Faith, while Kidman films the TV adaptation 'Nine Perfect Strangers'. Other performers include Morgan Wallen, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, and Dan + Shay with Justin Bieber.
The ceremony will be hosted by Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker. McEntire expressed her excitement to share hosting duties, while Rucker noted that the show will look different this year but promised a night of musical celebration.
Miranda Lambert leads the nominees with seven nods, followed by Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, and Justin Bieber. Charley Pride will receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
