Spotify Wrapped has launched for 2025, giving music fans a personalised look at their most-listened songs, artists and albums from the past year. The streaming service's annual feature, titled 'Celebration Of Your Year', is now available via the Spotify app and website.
This year's Wrapped includes nearly a dozen new ways to explore listening habits, with a launch film directed by KC Locke featuring artists such as Central Cee, PinkPantheress and Lewis Capaldi, alongside cameos from Louis Theroux and Grime Gran.
Globally, Bad Bunny is the most-streamed artist for the fourth time, amassing over 19.8 billion streams in 2025. The top song worldwide is Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' 'Die With A Smile', with more than 1.7 billion streams.
In the UK, Taylor Swift is the most-streamed artist for the third consecutive year, ahead of Drake, Sabrina Carpenter, The Weeknd and Billie Eilish. Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' is the UK's most-streamed song, followed by Gracie Abrams' 'That's So True' and 'Messy' by Lola Young. Sabrina Carpenter's 'Short n' Sweet' is the most-streamed album in the UK.
Spotify has faced controversy in 2025 over CEO Daniel Ek's investments in military technology, leading artists such as Massive Attack and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard to remove their music from the platform. The band criticised the 'moral and ethical burden' of funding lethal technologies through listener revenue.
