Harry Styles Revives X Factor Outfit for Halloween

Harry Styles brought back his 2010 X Factor audition look for the penultimate show of his Madison Square Garden residency, delighting fans with a nostalgic nod to his early career.

The 32-year-old singer wore a grey cardigan over a white T-shirt, a yellow scarf, brown khakis, and an X Factor audition number pinned to his front, paying tribute to his 16-year-old self. He also performed a rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely," the song that helped him advance in the competition.

A Nod to His Roots

During the Friday performance, Styles told the crowd, "I work in a bakery," referencing the part-time job he held as a teenager, which he had discussed with the judges during his audition. The Worcestershire-born star rose to fame with One Direction, formed on the ITV singing competition alongside Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.

One Direction, known for hits like "Story Of My Life," "What Makes You Beautiful," and "Best Song Ever," achieved four UK number one singles and four UK number one albums. The group went on hiatus in 2016, nearly a year after Malik departed.

Halloween Spirit and Celebrity Guests

Earlier in the night, Styles channeled rocker Elvis Presley in a white sequinned jumpsuit with a satin-lined blue cape and gold sunglasses. His band and dancers joined in the Halloween theme, dressing as various versions of Styles from throughout his career.

Videos from the show captured Presley's granddaughter, actress Riley Keough, in the crowd alongside Styles' partner, Zoe Kravitz, who wore an all-red outfit and devil horns while dancing. Kravitz, daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, has been linked to Styles since August 2025, and the couple recently sparked engagement rumors.
